Tevita's Movie!

Tevita has sent in this movie he made called: Stop motion! He has been busy creating this cool semi trailer out of Lego at home in lockdown. He made a video using his iPad to show how clever he is using animation techniques. Look how it backs up, hooks on to the tow bar and then moves forward all by itself!Tino pai mahi This is amazing, well done from Mrs Carter.

Celebrating Tongan language week!

Tevita has kindly shared this photo of him and his sister dressing up in traditional costumes for White Sunday. He also told me about a Tongan dish called "Lu Sipi" which is your favourite meat covered in coconut cream and cooked in taro leaves and it tastes delicious! Malo 'aupito from Mrs Carter.

Day 9

Tevita has been super busy at home, making sure he gets some exercise and enjoying the sunshine for some Vitamin D. How lucky are you to see a double rainbow? I love the "sand angel" you made on the beach and that shell design is so pretty. It's great to see you wearing your helmet while out bike riding past school. It looks like your cat had fun exercising too! Did you help make that yummy looking baking? Well done and thanks for sharing, from Mrs Carter.

Return to level 4 lockdown!

Tevita has been busy learning from home and this is what he wrote on his daily journal: Today I feel happy because I just had my google meet and went on a bike ride. If you have any photos over the weekend please send them through so I can add them to your blog. Great work and I'm looking forward to seeing you online again this afternoon. My trip to Stardome!

Tevita enjoyed travelling by bus to Cornwall Park in Greenlane to visit the observatory. He learnt about how the sun and moon rotate around the earth to give us day and night. He watched the movie about Tycho the dog travelling to space and had fun at the playground with his friends! What did you like the best?
